Bagrati Folklore Ensemble – Georgian Traditional Dance & Music
The Bagrati Folklore Ensemble was founded in 1994 in Kutaisi, Georgia. Since its establishment, the ensemble has been dedicated to preserving and presenting the rich folklore traditions of all regions of Georgia, combining authentic heritage with creative interpretation and modern choreographic ideas.
Bagrati’s performances feature traditional Georgian folk dances and songs, showcasing exceptional choreographic skill, expressive movement, and powerful stage presence. The artists perform in beautiful national costumes, accompanied by masterful live music played on traditional Georgian instruments.
Each performance invites the audience into the vibrant and emotional world of Georgian culture, filled with energy, rhythm, and historical depth. The ensemble includes two generations of performers — Bagrati I and Bagrati II, ensuring continuity of tradition and artistic excellence.
The Bagrati Folklore Ensemble has represented Georgia in numerous countries, participating in international festivals and cultural events. The ensemble is available for international festivals, competitions, cultural programs, and commercial concerts worldwide.
