Central University of Europe – International Education in Western Georgia

Central University of Europe (CUE) is the first private higher education institution in Western Georgia, founded in 1991. The university offers high-quality education aligned with international academic standards, combining theoretical knowledge with practice-oriented learning.

Central University of Europe delivers educational programs at all three academic levels (Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral). Academic programs are offered in both Georgian and English, making the university attractive to local and international students.

The university operates the following faculties:

• Faculty of Medicine and Social Sciences

• Faculty of Business and Law

In addition to academic education, Central University of Europe actively supports students’ development in artistic, cultural, and creative fields. The university provides a dynamic environment where students can express themselves beyond the classroom.

For this purpose, several creative initiatives have been established, including:

• A university theater troupe

• A choreographic ensemble “Erisa”

• A fun and clever club “Sensation”

Central University of Europe also encourages student engagement through student clubs formed based on shared interests. Students have the right to create clubs of various profiles and directions in coordination with the Student and Alumni Service Center and the Student Self-Government.

Central University of Europe is an individual associate member of the European University Association (EUA) and is the fifth private university in Georgia to join this prestigious organization. This membership provides a unique opportunity to participate in shaping European higher education policy.

Since its establishment, the university has signed memorandums of understanding with 67 universities from 21 countries, enabling:

• Student and staff exchange programs

• Double degree programs

• Admission of international students and lecturers

In addition to delivering quality education, the Student and Alumni Service Center, in cooperation with partner organizations, actively supports students and graduates in employment and internship opportunities, helping them successfully enter the labor market.
